Job Description

1. Work under the guidance of the China Technical Director, cooperate with the business to achieve annual sales targets, and indirectly create value for the company.
2. Develop and formulate flavor formulations: including creating new flavors, optimizing existing flavors, and matching flavors across different food categories (such as beverages, dairy products, baked goods).
3. Apply flavors to food products: integrate flavors into base formulations and create prototypes to evaluate their effects.
4. Collaborate with other teams: work with R&D, quality assurance, and sales teams to align product formulations with business objectives.
5. Conduct trials and evaluations: evaluate flavor formulations in various food products and collect data to optimize formulations.
6. Solve technical issues: collaborate with R&D and marketing teams to conduct trials to resolve any issues arising during product scale-up or production.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science/Technology or related fields.
2. 5-10 years of technical experience in food product development and formulation. Flavor and fragrance background, experience in flavor creation and sweetness modulation, understanding of flavor and fragrance raw materials, experience in sweetener/sugar reduction project development or collaboration.
3. Understanding of food science principles and experimental design.
4. Strong teamwork spirit and high work enthusiasm, with high proactivity in food industry marketing and sales.
5. Able to work independently and also collaborate with teams.
6. English proficiency sufficient for work meetings.
